At this appointment, our doctor will determine whether you have a condition that would qualify you for treatment with medical marijuana. Step 2: Your Doctor will Review your Medical Records
Your TruReleafMD Physician is required to review your medical history, including medical records. We can assist you in obtaining those records if needed. However, if you have those medical records, please fax or email to TruReleafMD prior to your scheduled appointment, or have them ready for your virtual appointment. Step 3: Doctor Will Provide a Recommendation if you Qualify
If the doctor deems your condition as one that qualifies for medical marijuana, they will register your certification for medical marijuana use, pursuant to Georgia laws. You will then want to apply to the Medical Cannabis Program as a patient within 60 days of this certification. You’ll then receive your Georgia medical marijuana card electronically and can shop at any licensed dispensary in the state of Georgia.
Step 4: Schedule Follow-Up Appointments
In order to keep your medical recommendation active in Georgia, you must follow up with your physician every 12-months.
